Created in 1985, the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) celebrates this year forty years of service to the Nation. Four decades during which the party has built a stronger Cameroon: schools, hospitals, roads, and institutions. This legacy, far from being an end in itself, has become the foundation of a future that aims to be ambitious.
Forty years of achievements, a Cameroon standing tall
Education — giving the youth the keys to their future
The ruling party has made education a priority. Literacy has risen, reaching nearly 78% by 2020. Regional universities, technical high schools, and professional training centers have brought knowledge closer to families and prepared young people for the jobs of tomorrow.
Health — protecting and saving lives
Life expectancy has increased significantly. Childhood vaccination now far surpasses the levels of the 1980s, while reference hospitals exist across all regions of Cameroon alongside local health centers spread throughout the territory.
Youth & Employment — investing in the future
Project competitions, support funds, entrepreneurship and economic inclusion programs clearly show one will: giving young people the means to turn ideas into enterprises, and dreams into jobs.
Infrastructure — connecting the country and unlocking the economy
Roads, bridges, dams, and electrification: these investments connect regions, energize trade, and sustain growth. They shape a country moving forward together, leaving no territory behind.
Peace & Unity — strength in diversity
In a land of more than 250 ethnic groups and languages, the CPDM under the leadership of H.E. Paul Biya has transformed diversity into strength. Despite a complex colonial legacy, peace and unity have been preserved. As President Paul Biya reminds us: “Peace, Unity, and Solidarity are values with which we do not compromise.”
Towards 2025: a springboard for the future.
This legacy must not be seen as an achievement to rest upon, but as a springboard. Cameroon has already laid its foundations. Now, it is time to accelerate and to innovate.
The presidential election of October 12, 2025 will be a decisive moment. It is not just a vote, but the reaffirmation of a collective choice: to continue the path already begun, to consolidate stability, to amplify reforms, and to give our youth the tools to fulfill their ambitions.
Cameroonians at home and across the diaspora, the time has come to mobilize — to safeguard the peace and sustainability that define us.
And who better than candidate H.E. Paul Biya — the very embodiment of peace and the guarantor of our unity — to consolidate this vision and lead Cameroon into the future?
For the future of the Nation does not belong to a few; it belongs to each and every one of us.
