The CPDM is rolling out an unprecedented campaign — one built on human connection, carried by President Paul Biya.
This time, no more long speeches from distant podiums, no stiff ceremonies or red-carpet rituals. The new approach is clear: go straight into the towns and neighborhoods, close to where daily life unfolds. Where the energy is real, where people truly live — far from the spotlights, but right at the heart of the community.
On Wednesday(23 September )afternoon, the Yaoundé Conference Center was filled to capacity for a major campaign briefing. Chaired by Jean NKUETE, Secretary General of the Central Committee, the entire campaign structure was present — from national commissions to local leaders. But this time, the tone wasn’t technical. It was profoundly human.
👥 True, genuine proximity
The CPDM’s 2025 campaign will be rooted in everyday spaces: neighborhoods, crossroads, homes, community football fields, churches, markets, barber shops, and improvised open-air spaces. No podium, no barriers, no artificial distance.
“Cameroonians want us to look them in the eye. To speak with them, to listen to them — not to talk down from above.” — says a senior campaign official, wearing a “President Paul Biya 2025” t-shirt and a scarf around his shoulders.
Here, jackets and formality are out of place. The style is young, simple and accessible: jeans, sneakers, polos, and wax-print shirts bearing the candidate’s image.
Starting September 27, the campaign hits the streets — in neighborhoods, in villages, and in people’s hearts.
