On Monday, October 27, 2025, the Constitutional Council officially proclaimed the results of Cameroon’s presidential election held on October 12.
According to the final decision delivered during a solemn public session in Yaoundé, Paul Biya, candidate of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM), was declared the winner with a majority of vost casts (53,66%)
This announcement marks the conclusion of an electoral process closely followed across the country. In an atmosphere of calm and vigilance, the Cameroonian people made their choice through the ballot box — a choice that reaffirms their desire for national stability and institutional continuity.
