New York, October 5, 2025 — The atmosphere was electric yesterday in New York as members of the Cameroonian diaspora gathered in a powerful show of unity and engagement under the leadership of the Chair of the CPDM Americas Campaign Commission. The event brought together Cameroonians from all walks of life — energized, mobilized, and determined to reaffirm their commitment to peace, stability, and development under the leadership of H.E. President Paul Biya.
In her keynote address, the Chair highlighted the numerous initiatives and programs established by President Paul Biya to integrate the diaspora into the nation’s economic and social fabric. She reminded the audience that the President has consistently recognized the invaluable contribution of Cameroonians abroad and has set in motion frameworks to encourage their active participation in national growth.
"I urge you — to be builders, investors, innovators, and ambassadors of Cameroon wherever you are", she declared to resounding applause.
The hall echoed with chants of solidarity and optimism as participants pledged their support to the ideals of unity and peace, recognizing that together, they can continue to build a stronger and more prosperous Cameroon.
Following the rally, the delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Permanent Mission of Cameroon to the United Nations, where the same message of peace, love, and unity toward the motherland was reaffirmed. The delegation emphasized that the most meaningful expression of patriotism will be through the ballot — by voting for the candidate of greatness and hope, H.E. Paul Biya, on October 12, 2025.
As the countdown to election day continues, the diaspora’s commitment stands as a testament to a shared vision — a Cameroon united in peace, strengthened by its people, and inspired by the leadership of its President.
